The steps below assume that you have handled the AfterInstall event of your InstallerClass.ħ. All that's left is to tell your Setup project to invoke it at the appropriate times. Enter the code you want executed in the event handler. Select the Events node for your InstallerClass from the drop-down list at the top-left of the code window and select the event you want to handle from the top-right, just like for a form.Ħ. For instance, if you want your InstallerClass to execute code after your app has been installed you handle the AfterInstall event.ĥ. ![]() Now you have to handle the event or events on which you want your InstallerClass to execute code. That's where you are now, except that you didn't have to add any references because the designer would have done it for you. Add any components your InstallerClass requires and set their properties just as you would for a form. You cannot add controls to an InstallerClass but you can add components, like data access objects (DataSets, TableAdapters, etc.).ģ.
